Psychological Support Unit

Infertility is a stressful event in life and poses a threat to couples' life plans, so much so that 90% suffer from stress, with above average anxiety levels and symptoms of depression.

The path that couples who undergo assisted reproduction treatment go down is very often a long and difficult one. It is our aim to strive for the greatest emotional balance in our patients and to prevent any problem from appearing, such as excessive worry, anxiety or depression.

What do we do and what do we achieve?

We provide the psychological help and support needed to deal with the process with the widest pool of emotional resources and the greatest degree of emotional balance possible.
With our therapy we make the couple feel more sure of themselves, supported, and understood. This gives rise to a positive attitude towards the treatment, as the couple acquires emotional self-control and stable self-esteem.
